Take an existing residential complex and redevelop it to current sustainability expectations: a better envelope, more usable spaces, and a structure that can carry the changes. Prendere un complesso residenziale esistente e riqualificarlo secondo le attese attuali di sostenibilità: un involucro migliore, spazi più fruibili e una struttura in grado di sostenere le modifiche.
The approachL'approccio
The architectural model was developed in Revit and kept in step with a structural model analysed in SAP 2000, with AutoCAD carrying the technical drawings. Working both sides meant every architectural change was checked against the structure straight away, and vice versa. Il modello architettonico è stato sviluppato in Revit e mantenuto allineato a un modello strutturale analizzato in SAP 2000, con AutoCAD per gli elaborati tecnici. Lavorare su entrambi i fronti significava verificare subito ogni scelta architettonica sulla struttura, e viceversa.
